This top has been on my to sew list for quite some time. It’s Patrones 292 19 in size 44. Suitable for both work and casual wear its the perfect wardrobe builder. The top is cut on the bias giving it great drape and allowing it to be pulled over the head without a zipper. The pattern called for self material bias binding around the neck and arm opening but I serged, turned under and stitched with a twin needle instead.
Cream polyester satin with a black linear design from ‘The Fabric Store’. Any type of light weight satin would be perfect for this pattern as it relies on a good drape.
