I’ve seen this fabric too and wondered what it would look like as a dress. I agree that ikea fabrics are a brilliant weight for dresses. This one is lovely and fits so well.

As I saw the new fabrics in the Ikea catalogue lately I thougth that I have to buy some of them for sewing ;-) Now I even have a better imagination of how it can look like used for a dress! Thank you. And very, very nice!!

yeah, i hadn’t considered it until i went in one day and saw this fabric….i knew i had to have it so i was either re-covering the sofa or making a dress!! The dress seemed like the easier option!

it’s ikea fabric, i like it because it is upholstery weight, so it sits nice and stiff….and keeps lumps and bumps well hidden!!
