A shirt-dress that I made using the pattern 41122 Simplicity, Built By Wendy. I lengthened it by 9 inches so I can wear it alone with leggings but I’d probably make it even longer in future… It was the first time I’d made button holes. Success! I used 15 green buttons that I (actually my mum) routed out of our button stash. The buttons are about 50 years old and were from a school cardigan belonging to my mum. I had lots of trouble with the collar so in the end I just left it out! My sister got me the fabric in Liberty’s, London; I love it up close, but far away do I look like a crazy 70’s dude?!
