I might have to call this ‘Heroes Cardigan’. I watched two seasons of ‘heroes’ while I was knitting this piece. That’s how long it took to finish it. But I gotta tell ya. It is relaxing~.
I dropped shoulder for this piece significantly to create over-sized look. I like that this cardigan can be worn many different ways. Open or overlap front. Or button up the bottom. I attached two small buttons. And I also created a flower broach using a stitch holder. I had a vague idea of making a stitch holder into a broach but had hard time making a crochet flower. The youtube turitorial helped me greatly for creating layered flowers using crochet ( check out the ‘how to add rounds’). Youtube is becoming very resourceful for me these day.
