Last minute top made for a meeting this morning. It was perfect for a skirt I made a few months ago that was sitting in my closet. The fabric of the top is charmeuse which is very silky and feels good on the skin.
I use the jersey cowl from March 2013 as a base, but I had to cut it out on the bias because the fabric does not provide for stretch lengthwise. The top has cowl neckline and flounce sleeve. I draft the sleeve because I did not want the regular sleeve I needed movement.
The skirt is plain with a bow added at the back and four carriers place at the waistband.
Really like how the look came across nicely and was ready for the day :-)
