This dress was made from Simplicity 2054, part of their line of Cynthia Rowley designs. I have had mixed success with her patterns – they do not always seem designed for my figure, but they are cute! I liked this one because I love a giant cowl neck, and because it’s basically a simple t-shirt dress design underneath. I shortened the dress by several inches, hoping for more of a mini-dress. I’ll try to add modeled photos lately, but tis the season to get dark before I can get my picture taken! More details etc may be found at my blog, Green Apples.
ponte knit from Joann's (current season.) This fabric had a big giant flaw in the middle of it, so I employed some creative cutting!

cute! I have the same problem with it getting dark before I can get home from work and take pictures!
