I loosely based this dress on the Minimalist Cowl. I made the neckline lower, had to completely change the cowl, and added a skirt with small pleats in the front and back. Sadly, when I put it on tonight to take pictures I realized that it had shrunk in the wash…. stupid dryer. Oh, well I’ll just have to make another. It was pretty easy and I love avoiding zippers. I got the idea from an Ann Taylor dress.

I think you should reevaluate your opinion on this dress – the fit looks perfect as it is now. In your place, I would definitely wear it!

I’m with frk.bustad here: fits perfectly, with your figure you can certainly carry it off ;-) Very feminine, just love it.

Gorgeous dress, the cowl looks great. I was about to comment the great fit on you, but then I read it shrunk? I’d still say it fits you perfectly and show off your great figure!
