Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This is the first knit garment that I patterned for myself. I’ve never made a scratch pattern for a knit fabric, so there are things I need to change, and I’ve learned lessons to be applied in the future. I made this dress to wear to my senior fashion show.
It’s made from a rayon jersey knit and has a blue and gold ribbon on the shoulders for detail. Though it can’t really be seen, the skirt is an 8-gored skirt.
