Description

This dress is based on a pattern from a Scandinavian sewing magazine 11/2010. To make the cowl neck bigger it’s with pleats on the shoulders. I have used micro satin, which are very soft and delicious for the upper part and knitted silver fabric for the skirt, and I think it’s nice together.
Instead of lining I have used satin band as bias around the cowl neck and shoulders.
Cecilie was wearing the dress in a wedding ♥

Material Notes

Micro satin and knitted silver fabric

Wow ! I love this idea of a dress that looks like a skirt and top. The cowl neckline is perfect for most bust sizes and a dress usually fits better and drapes much better on the body than seperates. Not to mention, I adore metallic fabric. Thanks for the super idea !

Thank you very much Mary! It wasn’t necessary with a zip for this dress :)
