I’ve been sewing up a storm lately! I made this dress a little at a time over the past few weeks, like seriously a pleat a day for a week cause I had so much other stuff to do, I only had like 5 minutes a day to work on this. I used McCall’s pattern 5926 and I shortened it a bit cause I’m short. I’m looking forward to wearing it with a long sleeved shirt and leggings underneath.
The pattern was very simple and great for people looking to learn how to pleat and how to do inset pockets.
A fantastic stretch wool blend in deep maroon! I wish I had gotten more, this would make a fabulous skirt or pants. This material is on sale (40%off) at Hancock Fabrics until the end of November

Thanks everybody! I’ll definitely wear it on its own, its just a little too cold to bare my arms and legs right now.
