Description

So I went back to basics and took the Craftsy (or half of it :-S) course for the ‘couture dress’ to get some techniques and fitting skills. I’m now a muslin convert!! Muslin changed about 10 times and now have pattern pieces that actually fit me :-)

Its a ‘shirt’ dress however it has a zip up the side as I dont like how shirt dresses open at the front when you sit down, the front is actually sewn closed!

‘tatsu’ print fabric with a lovely blue lining all the way through it.

In many cases, fabrics for a couture dress are richer than those used in normal dresses. The dresses come in a wide variety and array of colors and styles. – Markus Lattner

I just named it ‘couture’ after the video tutorial the techniques came from :)
