My group in our Couture presentation, We had to make a formal wear. All dress/suits are done using traditional couture techniques which translates to mostly sewing by hand. I thoroughly enjoyed this class.
Mine is a layered skirt and a strapless top done in two-toned Tafetta.
The other persons are my classmates in their creations. Pattern is self drafted
Some pics maybe of bad quality sorry

I love this fabric and the fact that it is two-toned. It saved me from going to buy two different colours (I had trouble finding colours i liked before i saw this). The ladies I’m standing between in the last pic used the same type of material.

It is amazing… the skirt-cut is very special but fantastic. Great work! And this is really a creation which is perfectly made- to- measure.

I’m glad it turned out well, man was it troublesome to sew. Especially getting in the boning
