I always make my daughter’s costume for Halloween. It’s always been one of my favorite traditions. She finally pick something besides a fair this year. It was fun to make, even though the silver trim was a bit fussy. It asked for grommets for the ties holes on the over coat, but I made button holes instead, much easier. The inside of the sleeve I used the same fabric as the under dress. I added the netting to make the dress a bit more puffy. My family was really impressed. (Photos always get croped. :s)

This is really awesome. The mix of colors and patterns really makes the costume, and it’s more original than most jester costumes I’ve seen.

Great costume! Love the fabrics! My son(“NathanL” on burdastyle) used one of the same fabrics on his jester costume to. I like that you were creative and used buttonholes instead of the grommets and added netting for a desired look. Just really cool!
