Description

We are having a country style wedding. It is going to be simple and in the country. After going to stores and looking at flower girl dresses, I realized they are way too expensive and nobody had the style I was looking for. Most are made to look like mini versions of a womans wedding dress, and I couldn’t find any under $75.
So I took a trip to the fabric store. Found a cute pattern by Simplicity 9497. Bought some inexpensive ivory color cotton fabric and some ribbon, and here’s what I ended up with.

Let me know what you guys think?

Material Notes

cotton fabric, ribbon trim

My Aunty made a similar style dress for my cousin’s wedding, but with a chiffon/satin dual layered skirt. I think things like that and yours look way better than mini marshmallow dresses!

LOL, me too. I have even seen some flower girl dresses with the fish tail. Did not like those at all.

Thanks. I’m really not into glamorous and do think simple is better.
