Description

I love this pattern. It’s easy to put together and the end result is fab. Was very particular about the fabric, which after much searching I managed to find in one of the fab fabric shops along Goldhawk Road in London.

Thanks. Noticed on your profile you also use deer & doe patterns.. In which case you may also want to take a look at Craftsy.com

Oh I love Craftsy! I made Gertie’s Bombshell dress from there, but then lost a bit of weight so it no longer fits :-( Deer and Doe are ace! Have you used any of their patterns?

Sorry I accidentally marked your last reply as inappropriate and I don’t know how to remove it! No I have never used deer and doe patterns.

Thanks. Also made the draw string trousers but used a silk satin fabric which I bought in a fab fabric store in Paris. Ever since I started sewing I have been collecting fabrics waiting for the right pattern to come across.

The draw string trousers seems very nice too, and comfortable.

You may also want to try Etsy.com for fabrics. I bought some great ones from there recently including some beautiful hand printed vintage taffeta.
