I want to make a smart looking sleeveless blouse and it needs to be quick to sew. The pattern is from Burda’s 09/2010 issue, blouse no. 110.
I also want to skip making a muslin this time, this blouse’s wrap over design would provide enough tolerance. That said, I did check the pattern’s waist and hip dimensions and adjusted the patterns before cutting out the fashion fabric which is a grey cotton satin with tiny dots. I also allowed extra wide seam allowances on the side seams. You can see the making of the blouse on my blog:
Swiss cotton satin, light weight fusible interfacing, small shiny buttons
