I tried this dress yesterday as a little change from my standard floral tea dresses. i had some stretch white lace here that i have been dying to use but just hadnt found the right project. ideally i would probably use vintage flat lace next time as the stretch was a little hard to handle. But overall i love the outcome! This one is a size 14 so i think today i will try it in a plus size with a different color skirt.
The bodice is self drafted from a vintage pattern cutting book & the skirt is a basic dirndl or gathered skirt.
new white stretch lace, vintage blue 100% cotton, new polycotton for bodice lining, zipper.
The lines of Greek architecture inspire this neutral and pastel collection.
