A lightweight cotton jersey hooded top. Based on the basic long sleeve t-shirt block by Winifred Aldrich, the pattern was generated online by makemypattern.com
For this version I added 4cm to the scye depth in the measurement settings and increased the easing to 100% to create a slightly larger overgarment fitting. I traced the pattern for the front leaving the neck line much higher so the hood would not pull the front of the torso up and added a seam allowance. The hood shape was traced from an existing garment and scaled to match the neckline.
Made with a very lightweight Mark Jacobs cotton jersey

Wow, this looks really cute. I’m still a bit traumatized by my last attempts at jersey knit, maybe I should revisit it. This is certainly inspiring :)
