Description

my second JJ…

this pattern has proved to get simpler and easier to sew each time you do it. altered it a bit by removing 2 of the 3 ruffles and making the one ruffle running (almost) across the length of the blouse. Also made the sleeves cuff a bit wider accommodating 3 buttons to close it.

I would say this 2nd try on the JJ looks more professionally done than my first one because of cleaner buttonholes, cleaner seams and the use of self-covered buttons. It’s not perfect though, but I think it improved a lot.

  • special thanks to my husband for getting me the dressform. Just makes my sewing life easier.

This blouse is absolutely adorable! It looks very well made and expensive. Love your choice of fabric and the use of covered buttons.
