The pattern I used Is Vogue 2850 Anna Sui. I’m not so crazy about the pattern itself, it runs very small. I’m a size 8 on my good days:) and that is the size I ordered. Well I should have got the size 18 according to their sizing. For this reason I had a lot of alteration on the pattern itself. The other problem I had to solve was the waistline. It was very high, I felt like it made the blouse very bulky with the wide flounce around the neckline. But after all it came out good. Fabric is cotton blend organdy, the bodice is lined with the same fabric. I finished it with rolled hem with decorative stitch instead of the serger.

Fabric.com. Organdy melon:) You will need 3 yards if you want to double the bodice, it’s very sheer.

In love with this!!!!! the hem is perfection. did you do a machine rolled hem or by hand then decorative stitched it? I have work on my rolled hemming skills. I love cotton candy so all I have to say is yummy:)

Thanks for the compliment:) I did the hem only by machine. I planned the scalloped rolled hem, but after 5" I quickly changed my mind:) I wanted to wear this blouse in this lifetime! I made a guide stitch about 1/4" from the edge, this way it was easier to fold it and didn’t stretched to much under the foot.

`Your hemming is absolutely perfect! I am so jealous. I had the exact ame difficulty, the bodice is extremely short.
