I fell in love with this plaid blue cotton fabric when I was looking for something else. Then I saw the duffle coat pattern and fell in love with that, too. Voila — match made in heaven! I lined it with fleece and added black cuffs around the sleeves with decorative buttons, and I ran out of the plaid fabric on the hood, so I ended up lining that with black fleece, too. I made the toggle buttons with fleece and suede rope. And I absolutely adore wearing this around. It’s nice and warm!
