Burda Style For people who sew

Description

This was an encharge made it by the Chilean Choreographer Carmen Beuchat for her last piece El Primer Gesto (premiered in October 2012).
I’m part in her company of contemporary dance as dancer and also as designer. So I had the chance to understand from inside the concept.
Inspired in the bees, also I worked with the idea to build in the costume it self different fronts, to note differences by the front, back and sides, during the dance, and, I included folds because I love it!
The textures are risked because by the first moment I take the chance to work with some fabrics who is not so comun sew together, but, this was a good risk to take, and I’m very happy with this result!

Fabrics:
Algodn con vuelos, lycra algodn para el interior de pretinas, seda sintetica, tela de fiesta (no recuerdo ahora el nombre…..luego lo incluyo!)
