Description

This is a refashion made very quickly for a night at the opera. I hate buying new clothes, but maternity clothes are the worst! So after some frantic searching through my wardrobe I came up with a stretchy red and black skirt and a black sleeveless top. I unpicked the elastic waist of the skirt; I also cut off a few inches from the hem of the top, and then gathered the bust using Maryy’s method from the hot hot heat dress. Top sewn to bottom, project finished.

Unlike the last maternity dress I made, as this is all jersey, it will last me the rest of the pregnancy. Which will hopefully end next month.
