I offered this corset to my sister for Christmas. I used this tutorial found on Instructables: http://www.instructables.com/id/Corset-for-the-Business-Professional/
and I customized … I removed the busk and I added some ailerons on the hips and the sleeves. The fabric used is an imitation of reptile skin, the interior is lined with blue taffeta and I sewed a modesty panel based to this model: http://katafalk.wordpress.com/2009/12/25/striped-corset-finished/
Finally, you need to be patient to put this corset because there are 50 eyelets in the back and no busk!

Wow! I love the look of those high-back corsets anyway but your version looks very well-made and even more impressive with the added hip and shoulder pieces. Really cool.
