I made this corset as part of a co-sew-along I’m hosting over on my blog A Few Threads Loose. I used a 1950’s vintage style digital pattern and added details like lace overlay, a back closure ruffle and rosettes.
The side fronts and hook and eye back are boned using vintage featherbone boning.
You can check out the how-to’s I posted for each step, the projects of the 80 + other participants as they share, and lots of pictures… and a little drinking here:

We’re only half done, there’s a matching bra coming up next!

I love your corset and enjoyed following the sew-along posts, even if I didn’t join in. Seeing the result(s) I’m itching to make one.

Thanks! I’m so glad you enjoyed the posts! The great thing about a blog sew-along is you can do it whenever you like, because it will always be there waiting for you!
