Description

Halloween Costume from 2009.
I love trying to replicate costumes from movies; the details are so much fun!
This project is a feather weight corset, Simplicity 5006, and petticoat with draped fishnet for the skirt, both which were dyed using tea, coffee, and blue food colouring in water. I completely lucked out and found all materials (and lace!) at home. Because it turned out to be chilly on Hallowe’en (end of October and cold? Who would have guessed!) I also made a over robe.

Model: my sister
Make-up: myself

Material Notes

Unknown sateen finish cotton-poly blend, tulle, mosquito netting from Ikea, unknown blue poly spiderweb print.

Great job! I made the same costume quite a few years ago. I like your version much better!
