i bought this fabric
with sonja dress on my mind
but after my 1st attempt on sonja
that idea was abandoned
and i set to find an alternative pattern
that has less fit issues
and i found the perfect one
cocktail dress from burda magazine 1/2012, mod 114
i lowered the neckline
and made bodice end at my actual waistline
attached half-circle skirt to it
and that’s about it
quite pleased with the dress
(although i wish i made it a bit longer)
