I wanted to make a simple blouse to wear for everyday use. I saw this pattern in the August edition of Burdastyle magazine and instantly liked it. After making it, I find that it is on the large side in the bust area. So if I were to make it again I would probably do a small bust adjustment to it, to subtract in that area. On the good side -the extra room results in a more comfortable blouse wear, as you can move around more freely. My favourite part is the back slit with buttons and thread loops! A nice way to show off buttons without spending frustrating hours making buttonholes. The only modifications I did was to shorten the arms to elbow length, omitted the zippers in the sleeves (who needs zippers in the sleeves???) and added 3 buttons to the back slit instead of 1.
