I fell in love with the fabric when I saw it in the shop (I just love the colours combination) and I decided immediately to make a dress to wear in two weddings I had this month. I was also lucky enough to find matching shoes (and belt) in the exactly same colours of the dress!
I had in mind a vintage pattern and the idea of a matching petticoat in tulle. The fabric itself is so joyful that wouldn’t require a too elaborate pattern.
Pattern: Burda Easy Fashion Spring-Summer 2009 (dress 5A)
Polka dot fabric (polyester).
Tulle and satin fabric for the petticoat.
