Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This is a red version of my A-line dress.
I drafted a pattern for this dress. It took me 1 week to “try and fix”. But as everybody asked me to share the pattern, I guess it came out well:) I hope to find time to make a pattern, but please don’t be so happy, I am not sure if I can do it or not yet.
It’s perfect for holidays, isn’t it?
I hand-stitched hem and like the result! It takes time, but I would rather to spend time to make it look good!

I absolutely love this dress! ..but I think it’s a tad too big on you,you’re a tiny feminine lil’ lady and I think some taking in too see your curves would make it much more beauiful. :)

I love this dress! Is it a Burda Pattern or is it the vintage Simplicity 7396 as in the reply: “2 days ago, 09.48 PM; by lovefrommum; Lovely. Is it vintage Simplicity 7396. I have the exact pattern awaiting my attention! You’ve done an inspiring job : )”?

Actually this is a self-made pattern. So there is nowhere to find it. If I have a time, I may be able to make a pattern and instruction for all of you. But right now, it is so hard to find time because of upcoming holiday:( Sorry!

did you make this one less flared? I actually prefer this one- it also suits your skin tone very much!!!!!! I would love to get a pattern!!!!! I think if you posted the instructions or even a pattern- you could creat an Ophelia Dress craze here on BurdaStyle

I changed the size a bit smaller this time:) Yeah, I think the color matches with my skin better with this one! I wish I could make a pattern and instruction. Maybe Burda can help me to do..
