Hello again! Over the summer i became obsessed with playsuits, only because i tried my hand at making one (polka dot) and it turned out better than I had imagined. So for my 20th birthday night out i wanted something unique eyecatching and lust-worhty, play(suit) time! Whilst away at the sports resort Club La Santa in Lanzarote with my super sporty boyfriend, i found myself thinking back to my diving exam in Egypt, and the amazing coral, and the…..wait coral!? I suddenly realised i would based my playsuit on the brightly colour coral, but how….the only way in the summer has to be tie-dye so be it! I used the same pattern as i did for the polka paysuit but made the neck line a sweetheart. Because this was going to be cotton i had to make it miles too big to give it extra stretch. So once tiedyed i used the entire piece of fabric to make up the playsuit, finally once together I added lots of teenie-weenie crystals and layered sequins, just so that when it hit the light there would be sparkly magic!!!!!
*Sorry the best images are of me and a friend pretending to be angry lions and lemurs, but they are just so cool.

Amazing work! Your tie dying turned out beautifully. I want a playsuit (they’re called rompers in the magazines here but playsuit is so much better) but I’m terrified of the inevitable fit issues (I’m a pear).
Great job!
