this empire waist dress is from vintage simplicity pattern #7472 from 1967 (pattern photo: http://ny-image3.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.91883775.jpg), but with some changes. the pattern is very small so i had to make adjustments so that i could use it. I cut it a little larger and added the trim/sewn on belt around the waist and also left off the sleeves. i know there are imperfections and i would like to make a better one sometime, but i think it came out okay. i’ve heard how difficult jersey is to work with, and i have to agree. it was pretty frustrating! :) thanks for looking!
1/2 yard coral/cream striped cotton, 1 yd heather grey jersey knit, 1 vintage melon zipper.
