Saw this dress 4 months back from the Blog and instantly wanted to make it. It is one of China’s favorite dress from their Fashion Week.
I opt to use mint green as it is very soft on my skin tone. I use stretch lace mixed with satin. The shiny part of the satin is used as the wrong side and the less shiny part is used as the right side. The gathered dress pattern from Burdastyle is used as the base for the style.
The top has darts in the front and back with V cut in the front and back, the skirt section are pleated to conform to my waist.
I love how the look came across and was extremely proud when I am wearing it-)
