I’m going on a cruise to the Pacific Islands so I decided to make this coverup for the poolside or beach. The pattern started off as a rectangle with the neck hole cut out of it followed by the shaped side seams. I used the selvage as the hemline. The fabric allows plenty of airflow to keep me cool. So easy to put on and off…I can’t wait to wear it!
I’ve had this crocheted-type fabric possibly since the 80s. I think it’s 100% cotton. No buttons or zips required.
