This is my entry for the first round of Project Sewn, an online sewing competition. The theme this week is ’black and white." I decided to do separates, with a white blazer, pleated top and ikat print gathered skirt. The blazer is modified from New Look 6013 — I added a lining, cropped it at the waist and added a rounded peplum thing, and made a contrast sleeve lining.
Jacket: stretch cotton sateen. Top: accordian pleated poly. Skirt: lightweight cotton jersey with knit interfacing for the waistband
