i made this apron based on the Sewing Republic “two tone apron” tutorial.
what did i change?
i added shape to the top band. this makes it more flattering & professional looking.
my 3 panels are made up of the same fabric, with one large off-set pocket in denim to match the waist band.
i also added pleats to the sides instead of gathering in the middle…i think it has a better shape & makes your waist look oh-so-skinny. :]
the bow in the back is made with a contrasting off-white to bring out the same color in the pattern.
i love the way it turned out! aprons are soo fun.
