Fun, swingy, girly top for this spring/summer. I loved working with linen and it is really comfortable to wear. I’ve had this old pair of linen capri’s for a while that I was going to get rid of, but instead decided to try and make a shirt out of them! I made the contrast bias tape from a big gap shirt that I got at a garage sale. It was too big, but I loved the print! I’m going to use the rest of it somehow too…..

Material Notes

I used an old pair of linen capri’s that I thrifted, and the the accent trim is some fabric that I made into bias tape from the sleeves of a gap shirt that is too big for me.

Thank you! And no I didn’t use a pattern, I just cut the legs of the capris open on the inside seam and used that curve as the arm opening. And then I just added a triangular piece to the middle front and back to make it more swingy and gathered the necklines…..
