Burda Style For people who sew
Description
While making this shirt I realise the neckline was too wide. On a pattern review site I saw more sewers having the same problem. So I added elastic in the shoulder seams. Still a bit too wide for me, but I can wear a blazer on it.
The pattern was from Burda Magazine 02/2010

Great idea! I’d cut this pattern, and partly sewn it together, when I realised the neckline would end up too big. I might consider having elastics in like you (the other option is to make a new frontpiece…)

If you are able making a new frontpiece I would do that, because mine is still wide. Can’t wait to see yours, is it with dots? :)

Gorgeous. I did like the wide neckline on your top, however I can see that it can lead to some bra issues. Perfect fit as well!

Oh, I have made a dress with the same pattern! The T-Shirt is very beautifull too! And yes, I have the same problem with the neckline, but your idea (the elastic) it’s very good!
