Description

An easy circle scarf made from three different colours of fabric. The grey and the pink fabric is jersey and the black “reptile” fabric is… stretch.
I cut out the grey and the pink fabric in pieces meassuring about 30 cm x 120 cm and sewed them together on the long side. Then I cut it apart in 4 pieces.
I added/sewed three pieces of “reptile” fabric (meassuring 58 cm x 17 cm) between the pieces of grey and pink fabric. The fourth piece I sewed on one of the ends of the fabric piece.
Then I sewed the hole fabric piece together on the long side, turned it inside out and sewed the ends together (I left about 10 cm for handstichtcing).
I hope it makes sense?

“and the reptile is…stretch” haha, that made me laugh. I love this and I love the unexpected animal print thrown in there.

What a great idea. Ive seen circle scarfs before and always thought they were a cool idea, but these ones are fantastic. I would have never thought to use multiple colours and textures in one. I’ll definitely be making some of these for myself, and possibly as Xmas gifts.

I love the addition of the faux reptile fabric. The different textures really make this a winner!

Thank you. Yes, you should try to make one. It isn´t difficult – and it´s a good way to use your scraps :)
