Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made a new top, self-drafted, out of some scraps. It’s basically rectangles of fabric, with a boatneck-line scooped out, armholes cut, and flattish sleeve caps measured and cut to fit the armholes. The neckline is faced to stabilise.
The skirt is made using Vogue 7303, of orange raw silk. I like the stacking effect of these solid blocks of colour, in rich autumnal colours.
