A colour block skirt using the alma volumous skirt pattern.
was originally going to be made as a dress but changed my mind as that way it is much more versatile, different belts, tops etc.

the waistband is more of a detachable tie. I simply sewed a strip of long fabric in half, turned inside out and then stitched diagonally at the ends. :) hope that helped, sorry it took so long to get back to you :D x
