I do like colors – and when I saw this lovely wool I just had to buy some fabric for my winter coat. The black parts is wool boucle and really warm. I found this pattern #109 in Burda 10/2009. I wanted to have a coat which I could use sweater underneath and for daily use. I made a belt for the waist and then it feels more suitably. It has side pockets and pocket in the back as well, but for me it was too much with pocket flaps. I like the hood very much too :) As lining I have use sateen fabric.
Wool fabric, wool boucle and sateen fabric.
