I bought this very colorful fabric a few years back at a fabric sale. Initially I liked the colors but when I got home they were screaming at me…. So the fabric was banished to the fabric bin of no return… Until I saw this cute poplin dress in Burda’s May issue. I suddenly remembered the fabric. I lined the dress with a orange poplin that I also had in my stash. It’s a little stiffer than the fabric, that’s why the skirt of the dress is is a little wide along the edge.
I actually like the way it turned out…. I still don’t know if I will ever wear it outside of the house…
