I made this blouse as a try out for a fitted pattern I was drafting. I drafted the pattern sleeveless and then decided to add sleeves on this blouse; well that didn’t work. I tried it 4 times and then realized that the shoulders were to narrow for well fitting sleeves, so eventually I made a slit in the sleeves to give them more room. I like them this way. But for the next time I decide to use this pattern for a garment with sleeves, I have to make the shoulders wider. I allready re-drafted the pattern.
This was also the first time I made buttonholes. As soon as I cut them open they were almost falling apart so I decided to sew them again, being opened allready. It worked great, they are tough enough now and not such a mess as I expected.
