Color Blocks Dress

Added Aug 9, 2009

by staticstasy

Athens, Greece

I made this with the Burda 7681 and fabric from ikea! The only problem with the pattern seems to be that it was too loose on the top-back so I added elastic. I like it a lot though and I have gotten many compliments. My camera sadly has died, so we will have to make do with phone pictures… :)

Material Notes

ikea fabric

Garment Type
Beach, Bohemian, Classic, Evening Wear, Ethnic, Mod

Cool dress, I love how it’s put together and how the pattern works with it to become totally unique.

I love it! I love working with the large ikea prints too as I think you get happy accidents of where the prints end up. It’s really cute!

That’s nice! The effect of the red continuing in the bust part is confusing : )
