Description

I made this Hemlock Tee from Grainline studios’ pattern. This is my very first garment. It fits closer than the pattern intended because I used a 5/8 seam allowance instead of 3/8 (I forgot and never checked until I started installing the neckline). There are a few small issues but overall I’m very happy with it.

Pattern is free from Grainline studio: http://grainlinestudio.com/2013/08/05/hemlock-tee-pattern-its-free/

Material Notes

Tissue-weight knit fabric (probably polyester but it was a remnant so I don’t know).

Nice! I love the colors. Color blocking looks like fun. You’ve inspired me to play with lines and color. I hope it comes out as nice as yours. :-)

Yup! This was a bunch of major firsts for me, I’d never printed/assembled a PDF pattern or even used a rotary cutter before. Thanks so much!
