As soon as I saw this skirt, I knew I was going to make it…
And a few days later, my auntie gave me this piece of wool from Bompard, and I thought: it’s the perfect fabric!
Then it had to wait for a while in my stash until I find the time to make it… And tadaa! There it is!
The only thing I found in my closet to match was this white shirt, and with that the green pull over… I think I look like a “college girl” with it! (I actually am a girl in college ^^)
My boyfriend thinks the fabric looks old… But I don’t mind, I love it!
The only thing I changed in the pattern was the snap closure: I didn’t have the snaps, so I used little squares of velcro strip…
Well and also I wear it as a high-waisted skirt, so the lenght is good! (and I like the figure better than with a drop waist).
The “based on” doesn’t work, so here’s the link: 09/2011 Wrap Skirt #110
