I made this from a kimono that I have… It was really easy actually. It’s for my lovely friend Colleen’s birthday on Tuesday, I obviously don’t have a photo of her in it yet :) I was just excited when I finished so thought I would put it on here.
The bag is far from perfect – the fabric doesn’t lend itself to structure! I like it though – and because it was scrap, it cost nothing!

This is beautiful. I have been wanting to make one just like this for a couple of weeks now for a friend as well. I tried to make one and it was a disaster. I downloaded Burdastyle’s pattern for a Robe…lets see if i can get it too look as beautiful as this one. I’m sure she is going to LOVE it!!!

Thanks for your comment, I’m really excited to give it to her.
I’m going to make one for myself now! I think I’m going to try and make a tutorial at the same time as the pattern is just blocks! Not a curved edge in sight!
