Collarless shirt in white

Added Sep 15, 2011

by postmodest

Białystok / Wars...

A shirt based on model #109 from burda 8/2011.

I used thicker fabric, so I got a little ‘clinical’ look and you know what? I like it.

Looks fantastic. I’ve been looking for a shirt pattern that’s a little different. You’ve inspired me to have a go.

Your shirt looks lovely on you and you have done a great job. This is another pattern that I have over looked and you have given a new perspective. Thank-you for sharing.

Love the simplicity of the shirt, it’s very clinical but just perfect!

Wow… it turned out great ;))) Did you make the sleeves a little bit longer?

thanks! and: no I didn’t, I think it can be an illusion as it’s not visible in the photo that the shirt has more volume on the sides.

Maybe that’s why… because in the magazine it looks less at ease. Actually, I don’t trust pics in the magazine, because the real view is completely different, most of the times :7 It’s the tech, drawing that can “tell” the most, before sewing :)

true! in burda I always rush to the page with all the silhouettes, not giving a glance to the photos, simply because I can see nothing there ;)
