I am excited to be launching a collaboration with Tessuti Printed Textiles. This classic silk shirt is the first garment in the range. The silk is printed by hand by Scottish textile designer Fiona Mcintosh. I have long been a fan of Fiona’s abstract 1950’s inspired silks so it was a real pleasure to work together on this project. All garments are designed and manufactured by me. Both of our studios are in Leith, a part of Edinburgh which is traditionally know for its witches, prostitutes, sailors and petty crime. What people don’t necessarily know, is that there is a fair number of amazing drunk designers stalking these streets too.
There are some really beautiful prints, colourways and designs to come so keep track over at www.facebook.com/EmilyMillichipFashion.
These shirts will soon be available to buy at Concrete Wardrobe, Broughton St, Edinburgh.
Hand printed Habotai silk.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
